The University of Notre Dame is searching for a talented, mission-driven Assistant Director, Annual Giving Programs to join the team 和 lead critical campaigns, 倡议, 和 events that inspire donors to action 和 reach Notre Dame’s unrestricted revenue 和 donor count goals. 
 
In this role, you will join a gritty, fun, 和 collaborative team who embrace thinking differently. You will fight every day to advance the mission of Notre Dame through raising critical funds that empower Notre Dame students to be forces for good in the world.
 
The Assistant Director, Annual Giving Programs, is a key member of the Annual Giving team at one of the nation’s leading Universities.  The Assistant Director will focus on digital giving campaigns (Giving Tuesday 和 Notre Dame Day), 和 will also develop 和 execute several affinity-driven fundraising strategies. 
 
We’re looking for a creative wizard who speaks multi-channel marketing 和 communicates compellingly through strong writing 和 great relationships. This role will help reconnect alumni back to their alma mater 和 inspire them to deepen their relationship through charitable giving.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
 
Digital Giving Initiatives 和 Notre Dame Day:
 
    • Develop 和 execute annual digital fundraising strategies independently, focusing on donor acquisition 和 retention through integrated marketing communications.
    • Lead all Notre Dame Day strategies, including outreach to participating causes, communication planning for all audiences, Challenge Fund use, engaging campus partners, 和更多的. 
    • Create 和 implement gamification strategies for Notre Dame Day Challenge Funds to drive competition 和 inspire giving.
    • Inform 品牌 和 re-品牌 decisions to develop compelling creative content for Notre Dame Day 和 other campaigns.
    • Drive campaign execution 和 results through a highly collaborative, working group model.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact 和 subject matter expert for internal stakeholders 和 partners involved in campaign execution.
    • Coordinate direct mail solicitations to complement online strategies.
    • Ensure best practices are developed 和 followed, staying ahead of industry trends.

 

Campaign Strategy 和 Execution:
 
  • Plan 和 execute major annual fundraising campaigns such as Friday Night Bash, 受欢迎的周末, 还有其他事件.
  • Collaborate with the Storytelling 和 Marketing Operations teams to create event collateral, promotional materials, 和 digital content.
  • Strategize 和 develop new fundraising campaigns that can be implemented annually.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact 和 subject matter expert for internal stakeholders 和 partners involved in campaign execution.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years work experience
  • Experience or working knowledge in storytelling, 品牌, 和/or integrated marketing communication campaigns
  • Demonstrated success in tracking 和 analyzing metrics 和 results

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree; Marketing or related field
  • 3-5 years of related work experience in Annual Giving or 非营利性的 or related direct marketing role
